GENKO (https://www.genkotour.com) is a tour-management service run by GZI Studios LLC ("we"). This page explains what we collect, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@genkotour.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and profile photo when you sign in with Google, Apple or an email code. We never see your Google or Apple password.
- Tour information: what a tour manager adds or uploads: schedules, travel and hotel bookings, rooming, venues, crew lists (names, roles, emails and phone numbers), announcements and messages.
- Booking files: PDFs, emails and images a tour manager uploads, such as tickets and hotel confirmations. These can include travel details like seat numbers and booking references.
- Expenses: amounts, receipts and notes you submit.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as time, browser and errors) that keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To run the service: show each person the tour information meant for them, send sign-in codes, invites and tour updates.
- To read booking files: GENKO uses AI to pull dates, times and names out of uploaded files. The results stay as drafts that only the tour manager sees until they approve them.
- To keep GENKO secure, fix errors and support you.
We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't allow the AI provider to train its models on your files.
Who can see your information
Within a tour, the tour manager decides who sees what. Crew see only information the tour manager has approved and meant for them. A crew member's personal details (like their own seat or expenses) are shown only to them and the tour manager.
Who else handles your data
We use these service providers to run GENKO. They process data only on our instructions:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage (servers in the United States).
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Anthropic: the AI that reads uploaded booking files.
- Resend: sends GENKO's emails (sign-in codes and invites).
- Google and Apple: only if you choose to sign in with them.
Some of these providers are in the United States. Where the law requires it (for example for people in the EU or UK), transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep tour information while the tour manager's account is active. When a tour or an account is deleted, its data is removed from GENKO, and from our providers' backups within their normal backup cycle.
Your choices and rights
- You can see and edit your profile, and delete your account at any time in Settings.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it: email support@genkotour.com.
- If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and the database enforces who can see each record. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at support@genkotour.com if you notice anything wrong.
Children
GENKO is a work tool and isn't meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and tell tour managers about important changes.
